My name is Sarai, and I am an Admin & Program Support Specialist at Austin Mental Health Community, where I support program operations and administrative needs across services. I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) and first-generation college student at Austin Community College, currently pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Human Services with a focus on Addiction Counseling, with plans to continue on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.
I am certified as a Mental Health Peer Specialist (MHPS) and Recovery Support Peer Specialist (RSPS) and bring four years of lived recovery experience into my work. As a single mother, I am deeply committed to peer support, recovery-oriented care, and strengthening access to meaningful community resources.
