Thomas Cook

Tom Cook, RSPS, MHPS is a Certified Recovery Support Peer Specialist and Mental Health Peer Specialist in the State of Texas.  He currently serves as the Office Manager for Austin Mental Health Community at The SHAC.  Tom is a native New Yorker, brought to Texas through his time in the U.S. Army.  Tom has experience with both mental health and physical health challenges but doesn’t let those challenges become barriers to achieving new heights.  Tom is a father, a brother, a son, a veteran, and a peer.  He is grateful for the experiences in his life, and along his recovery journey, that have molded him into the person his today.
