The Travis County Community Center’s Food Pantries provide quality food items to households experiencing food insecurity. The pantries supply critical nutrition to hungry individuals and families living in Travis County. This program provides food to meet basic nutritional needs (approximately five days’ worth is provided). Travis County residents are encouraged to visit any of the six Community Center food pantries once every 30 days. First-time clients need to fill out an application that can be found online (check the website below) or in person at one of the Travis County Community Centers. An appointment is not required, but the pantries are prepared on a first-come-first-serve basis. The Central Austin Food Pantry hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, except on Wednesdays where the opening hours are from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Main Services: food pantry.
