Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)

The TANF program provides cash aid and services to eligible needy families and is designed to help needy families achieve self-sufficiency. Families that apply and qualify for ongoing assistance receive money each month to help pay for housing, food, clothing, and other essentials. This program provides financial assistance.
