The Austin Resource Center for the Homeless (ARCH) and Care Connections clinics provide primary medical care to homeless patients on a walk-in basis which includes everything from minor cuts and bruises, to major diagnoses. Tests for Hepatitis, HIV and TB are available. There are two case managers located at the Salvation Army who are on hand to organize patients’ care by connecting them with services that will be most beneficial for meeting their individual needs. Health care for the Homeless is also provided via the mobile street medicine team which goes out in the community 3 times per week and provides primary care to individuals out on the street who are not able to come to a CommUnityCare health center. Main Services: dental care, prescription assistance, vision care, medical care, checkup & tests, disease screening, mental health care, navigating the system, one-on-one support.
