Maintaining “Peerness” in Supervision provides 1.5 hours of continuing education for Peer Specialist Supervisors and focuses on preserving the unique peer role within supervision. This training explores how supervisors can support accountability, growth, and ethical practice without drifting into clinical or case management approaches.
Through case scenarios and guided discussion, participants examine common supervision challenges that can unintentionally blur peer identity. Supervisors learn practical strategies to protect peer values such as mutuality, lived experience, and self-determination while strengthening role clarity and recovery-oriented supervision.
