Building Collaborative Relationships: Working Effectively with Interdisciplinary Teams is a 1.5 continuing education training explores how Peer Specialists can build effective working relationships within interdisciplinary teams while maintaining the integrity of the peer role. Participants will examine communication strategies, role clarity, advocacy, conflict resolution, and professional collaboration that strengthen partnerships with clinical and non-clinical colleagues. Through discussion and practical application, participants will develop skills for navigating differing perspectives, promoting mutual respect, and contributing to recovery-oriented services without compromising peer support values.
