Building Recovery-Oriented Workplace Cultures is a 1.5 continuing education training explores how supervisors influence workplace culture and create environments where Peer Specialists can thrive. Participants will examine leadership behaviors that foster trust, collaboration, inclusion, psychological safety, and recovery-oriented practices throughout their organizations. Through discussion and practical application, supervisors will identify strategies for strengthening team relationships, promoting meaningful inclusion of Peer Specialists, and cultivating workplace cultures grounded in hope, respect, and recovery.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the characteristics of recovery-oriented workplace cultures that support Peer Specialists.
  2. Identify leadership practices that strengthen collaboration, inclusion, and psychological safety.
  3. Apply practical strategies for addressing workplace barriers that impact peer support integration.
