I Belong in Austin (IBIA)

Online applications are accepted from the 1st to the 7th of the month from 8:00am-5:00pm. El Buen Samaritano’s I Belong in Austin program provides rental assistance for Austin renters at risk of or currently facing eviction. This program serves households at risk of or vulnerable to eviction AND are housed in Austin City Limits (see the application for the jurisdiction map) AND have a gross annual household income that does not exceed 80% of the 2025 Area Median Family Income (see the application for the table) AND have or had an executed long-term lease. Main Services: emergency payments, help pay for housing, financial assistance.
