Blindness Education, Screening and Treatment (BEST) Program

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission BEST program provides free vision screenings and financial assistance to Texas residents for medically urgent eye treatment with a referral from your ophthalmologist. This program provides vision screenings, financial assistance, blindness prevention education, and blindness prevention resources.
