Suzanne Edmiston

Certified Mental Health Peer Specialist

Suzanne Edmiston Worrell, MHPS is a Certified Mental Health Peer Specialist.  She started her work as a peer specialist, at the SHAC, in 2010.  Suzanne has led peer groups, including “General Peer Support,” “Creative Expressions,” “Dual Diagnosis,” “ Wednesday Fun Day,” and “WRAP.”  Suzanne has been in recovery from mental illness, since January 1998.  She loves being able to tell her story and promote recovery.  Suzanne is a wife, mother of a Dachshund named Diego, and sister, as well as an aunt.  She was inducted into the “Daughers of the King,” St. Cecialia Chapter, and St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, in 2007.  Suzanne is also a visual artist and has a studio named, “Suzanimation!”
